Sale Cemetery Walk
Visit the early pioneers of Sale resting peacefully in the picturesque Sale Cemetery when the Sale Family History Group conduct a cemetery walk on 28th March in conjunction with the Bond Street Event Centre and the Sale Cemetery Trust.
Politicians, squatters, convicts, community leaders lay in the Sale Cemetery, and during their lives made Sale what we know today, now their many descendants continue to guide Sale towards the future.
Sale Family History Group publication Sale Cemetery – Historical Memories, first published in 2012 and updated in 2023 details the little-known early Flooding Creek Cemetery from the 1840’s and the current Sale Cemetery on the Sale - Maffra Road which commenced about 1855.
