My name is Marta Briones, I started to paint with acrylics, then I was introduced to oil painting and I loved it!

Through the years I was taught different techniques and disciplines which I practiced for a while but one day my own style started to appear. We all learn from others but eventually we begin to find our own voice. My style is simple and colourful.

Most of my ideas begin with a photograph, sometimes two or three combined.

I enjoy painting, I enjoy moments, between moments, family, life and memories. 

The more I paint the more I appreciate the beauty that exist in ordinary moments.
